About the Campus

The historic Sheldon Jackson Campus is located in the picturesque coastal community of Sitka, Alaska. Spectacular views of the surrounding ocean and mountains, as well as easy access to the Tongass National Forest, provide a ideal setting for conferences, training sessions, and special events. Our facilities include a variety of accommodations for housing, dining, meeting and performing. Throughout the year, dozens of events are hosted on our campus.

In addition to the Fine Arts Camp, the campus is also home to Hames Center, the Sheldon Jackson Museum, and the Sitka Sound Science Center.

Campus facilities, including our residence buildings, theater, dining hall, and classroom spaces, are available for rent outside of camp season! Please note that our campus is completely full from June 1-July 31. For all other rental requests please visit our Event Rentals page here.
